Department Overview
The Marketing department is responsible for creating best-in-class marketing campaigns that maintain and grow our customer base. Increasing brand awareness to acquire new customers and engaging our existing customer base to increase LTV, our award-winning marketing department consists of four teams: brand marketing, brand partnership marketing, content and advertising.
Role Overview
As Social Media Coordinator (TikTok), you will coordinate the implementation of the organic social strategy on TikTok and help grow our presence through innovative, best-in-class content to drive reach and engagement.
You will report into the Social Media Manager (TikTok) and work closely with the wider Social Media, Content and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Propose innovative, TikTok-first content plans in response to marketing campaigns, new product launches and platform trends.
Understand platform audience insights ensuring all content is aligned with audience objectives.
Create clear and accurate external content briefs for brand partners, brand founders and creators in line with critical paths.
Produce and film Tiktok content at external location spaces, the social studio and events including store openings and pop-ups.
Edit Tiktok content into high quality, channel-native assets aligning with our channel, brand identity and platform audience.
Pull relevant data, create reports and analyse performance of marketing activity on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, providing suggestions to optimise content.
Ensure activity is in line with signed off budgets and invoices are submitted and paid in a timely manner.
Stay up to date on beauty and retail trends, conduct regular competitor research and industry analysis to ensure the marketing team are trying new initiatives.
About You:
You are a creative, enthusiastic and results-driven person with a real passion for TikTok and social media marketing. You are excited by the opportunity to understand our audiences and grow and develop our TikTok presence.
What we're looking for:
Experience creating engaging social media content, including filming and video editing.
Experience reporting on efficacy of social media content.
A solid understanding of social media platforms.
Interest in the beauty industry.
Confident and comfortable on camera with the ability to create reactive content quickly.
Good copywriting & communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
High attention to detail.
Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills.
A problem-solving approach.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and influence effectively.
The ability to prioritise, use initiative and perform under pressure.
A proactive and flexible approach.
