Department Overview
The marketing department is responsible for creating best-in-class marketing campaigns that maintain and grow our customer base. Increasing brand awareness to acquire new customers and engaging our existing customer base to increase LTV, our award-winning marketing department consists of four teams: brand marketing, brand partnership marketing, content and paid media.
Role Overview
The local marketing senior coordinator is responsible for coordinating our local marketing activity, developing footfall driving initiatives in-store and proximity locations to support our existing store portfolio.
The role is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day workload and development of the local marketing assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be the key marketing contact for local marketing at Space NK, ensuring clear and timely communication of plans to the marketing department, retail teams and wider business.
• Foster strong relationships with local marketing contacts and store retail teams.
• Coordinate and execute a calendar of local marketing activity to support opportunities that arise within our current store portfolio, including but not limited to centre marketing, local event participation and local partnerships.
• Create and execute marketing plans to support identified stores in achieving their footfall targets through tailored local marketing initiatives in-store and in proximity locations.
• Forecast performance and ensure all marketing activity has clearly defined objectives and KPIs that are measurable and align with business goals.
• Project manage all local marketing activity including asset briefing, sign off and ensuring relevant teams across the business are aware of and complete activity to deadlines.
• Evaluate campaign effectiveness, report on impact and embed learnings with all relevant teams.
• When relevant for activity, propose, select and manage agency partners to create best-in-class marketing activations.
• Budget management of relevant cost lines, ensuring spend is in line with plan, accurately tracked and invoices paid.
• Effectively line manage and develop the local marketing assistant.
• Keep up to date on the latest innovations within marketing, proposing new ideas and opportunities that relate to business objectives.

Experience of executing marketing campaigns within a retail environment
Experience of event management in a customer facing role
Strong organisational skills with experience of successfully managing multiple projects and deadlines at once
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present to large audiences
A problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to challenges

The role will require occasional stop-over travel outside of London and will be required to work evenings and weekends where event management falls at this time.
