Retail Print Designer - Based in Head Office
Role Overview
Joining Space NK as an innovative graphic designer, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding in-store collateral. This role demands a passion for design and beauty, with a sharp eye for detail and typography. Working under the guidance of the Senior Print Designer and supporting the development of a Creative Artworker, you will have the ability to produce strong creatives for a diverse range of materials from small signage and store displays, to large-format posters and hoardings. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working with an enthusiastic team to deliver beautiful and contemporary design solutions for all of Space NK's stores across the country.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Create a wide range of in-store print materials and branded retail. These include POS, signage, window displays and visual merchandising elements, to posters, brochures, and packaging.
Excellent understanding of print processes with the ability to artwork print-ready files and rework designs across variable formats with ease.
Maintain brand consistency by applying brand guidelines across all print materials.
Assist the wider creative team on varied print projects when needed.
Collaborate with internal teams, including closely with VM and other departments to align on creative and commercial goals.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, with excellent communication skills and ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently.
Keep up-to-date with design trends, competitor activity, and the specific retail market to inform design direction.
Required Skills and Experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, illustrator). Exposure to 3D rendering or spatial visualisation tools (e.g. Sketch Up, Blender) is a plus.
A strong design portfolio demonstrating a wide range of skills across retail/store graphics, print, colour theory, typography, layout and visual merchandising.
Proven expertise in designing high quality work with premium brands and ideally experience in the beauty or fashion industry.
Able to present decks in Powerpoint with strong communication skills.
Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
