Junior Multimedia Designer - Head Office

Role Overview

As a Junior Multimedia designer at Space NK, you will play a crucial role in creating visually engaging assets across our digital channels. Reporting into our Multimedia Designer, you will contribute to campaigns that build our brand identity and engage millions of customers. Responsibilites include designing digital assets ranging from static social posts, to animated GIFs, digital screens and short-form videos for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative self-starter to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within a best-in-class beauty retailer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design visually engaging paid media assets including static posts, videos, banners, and other digital content that align with the Space NK brand.

  • Support the artwork rollout of multiple asset variations for affiliate platforms and digital placements.

  • Adapt and artwork digital screen content from brands to fit internal guidelines and specifications.

  • Collaborate closely with the Multimedia Designer and other cross-functional teams (e.g. Social, marketing, content) to ensure cohesive visual concepts and ensure project deadlines are met.

  • Produce designs based on creative direction provided by senior team members to hone your skills and improve design quality.

  • Support the maintenance and development of design guidelines, best practices, and templates to ensure consistency across channels.

  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas and an awareness of current social media design trends.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A strong portfolio showcasing your creative digital, design and video editing skills.

  • Proficienct in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, After Effects/Premiere Pro and Illustrator. Video editing experience is required and knowledge in animation is a bonus.

  • A keen eye for detail, layout and typography.

  • Strong organisation and time management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, with openness to receiving and applying feedback.

  • A passion for the beauty and retail industry is a plus.
