Areas of Responsibility:

STOCK MANAGEMENT

• Purchase order management – raising orders in a timely, accurate manner and communicating with brands.

• Maintain supplier stock status across our IT systems to feed into availability reports.

• Intake management - accurate management of the delivery schedule, ensuring deliveries are met by brands. Communicating any short shipments, late deliveries, and cancellations to the Merchandising team and the wider business. Understanding the impact to the business.

• Under the guidance of Merchandiser, ensure new line ranging and allocations are actioned accurately and in a timely manner in line with agreed launch dates.

• Tester management – assist with overseeing tester ordering and availability metrics in our stores and DC.

• New products & brand launches: Responsible for confirming all SKU's are on time for their OCD, identify any risks to the team and confirmation that all stock is in place.

TRADING

• Participate in team trade and cover availability reporting for the category

• Produce and compile trade reports to a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage trackers such as marketing and activations to ensure that stock is available to support launches, events, and pop ups throughout the year.

• Work with Inventory Merch to execute Store Recalls.

• Produce ad hoc financial analysis as requested.

• Responsibility for NPD Critical Path, including stock tracking, flagging any risks to launch date with stakeholder teams, placing stock and testers and ranging.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

• Develop excellent working knowledge of all Merchandising systems. Qlikview, Navision, AGR.

• Develop a strong understanding of retail maths.

• Develop and build strong relationships and networks with cross functional partners both internally and externally.

• Responsible for driving their own development and actively seeking out training as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

• Entry Level – previous merchandising experience is not required, but will be highly regarded.

• Knowledge of retail merchandising and retail maths will be highly regarded, but not essential

• Good Excel skills and basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools is required.

• Numerical – the role requires a high level of mathematical competency.

• Ability to work under pressure and take initiative to problem-solve entrepreneurial challenges.

• Analytical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
